Looks like snow is going to be making its way to Montreal much earlier than expected.
From experiencing extreme heat, to turning up our home thermostats overnight… Montreal weather is a fan of inconsistency. So much so that this month meteorologists are predicting an early snowfall to occur in mid-October.
Yup… Snow!

According to The Weather Network, “As we head further into the fall season, snow is creeping into more and more upcoming forecasts, and over the next seven days in particular, there is the potential for 10 of Canada's 13 provinces and territories to see some flakes fly by early next week.”
The earliest snowfall Montreal experienced over the course of the last 20 years was on October 17, 2015, with 1 cm of snow.
Looks like this will be a record breaking year… So, make sure to bundle up and take out those snow boots!
