Anyone who listens to The Beat 92.5 knows our most popular on-air contest... The Beat FX!
Over the past few weeks, we've been playing many challenging sounds that had the island of Montreal asking themselves: "What sound could it be?!"
Every Monday to Friday, we played the sound four times a day and all you had to do was guess the sound to WIN... And for a while there, it seemed like no one was going to be able to guess our first sound!
So, to give our listeners a helping hand... We asked them to 'Like' one of our posts on social media over 1,000 times in exchange for a clue.
But, little did they know... We hid the secret Beat FX sound in each clip as a little "Easter Egg" to keep things interesting (view below).
After many trials and errors, Renan from Brossard guessed the Beat FX sound correctly (opening an umbrella), and walked away with $9,500!!!
Catherine and Cat asked him what he would do with that cash, and he humbly said that he would visit his family back in Brazil, and put the money towards his mental health.
So deserving!
