Winter is coming, Montreal. Like, actually.

The season’s first official snowfall is expected this Wednesday with around 5 to 10 centimetres of snow, according to The Weather Network.

Sigh.

The snowfall should last from Wednesday morning through to Wednesday evening, which will likely cause significant impacts on rush hour traffic… So plan your travelling wisely!

While temperatures should drop to no more than -3 degrees Celsius, Montrealers will still need to bundle up due to the predicted snowfall.

Flurries are expected for the rest of the week, with an average temperature of 1 degrees Celsius from Wednesday through to next Tuesday.

Still haven’t changed your winter tires? You still have until December 1st to get that done… Just make sure to be careful on those soon-to-be icy roads.

Happy snowfall, Montreal!
