The 21st Century Burlesque just named Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière, burlesque performer from Montreal’s South Shore, the 2nd most influential in the world. This placed her above other influential artists such as Dita Von Teese and GiGi Holliday. The performer grew up in Montreal’s Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) community of Kahnawake.

The 21st Century Burlesque list is voted by many: performers, producers, fans, audience members, and more.

Six months earlier, Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière was already named Miss Exotic World at the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, Las Vegas.
