Sean 'Diddy' Combs' children have spoken after their father was acquitted of sex trafficking charges.

The rapper, 55, has seven children, some of whom were at the Manhattan federal courthouse when Combs was found not guilty on two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and racketeering conspiracy.

"First thing I'm gonna do is hug my Pops!" Christian Combs, 27, said, according to the Daily Mail.

He added that he and siblings were"hopeful" but that "you never know."

Christian's brother, Justin Combs, 31, also told how they are "so happy" with the verdict.

They also told how they were "overjoyed" at the decision and planned to have a 4th July party later this week, potentially with their father in attendance.

nCombs' daughter, Chance Combs, 18, and his adopted son Quincy Brown, 33, were also present for the verdict.

The jury found the rapper guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but he was cleared of the other charges which could have seen him in prison for the rest of his life. He still faces up to 10 years in prison, but as he was led out of the courtroom and back in to custody, it was reported that he told the room he'll "be home soon".

Combs is also father to twins D'Lila, Jessie and Love, 18, and daughter Love, two.
