Dry January, a concept recently popular on social media, calls for people to go alcohol-free over the month of January. After celebrating maybe a little bit too much over the holidays, doing dry January has many benefits! Here are a few:

1. Health benefits!

Going alcohol-free has so many health benefits, you'd be surprised! Better-looking skin, weight loss, improved mental health, and better memory are just a few.

2. It helps your budget

Drinking isn't cheap... and reducing your intake of alcohol could really help your wallet. Save your money and treat yourself to some new clothes instead!

3. Discover new mocktails and other drinks

If you stop drinking alcohol, you'll discover a ton of new drinks and mocktails to try. Say hello to virgin margaritas!

4. Sleep better

Alcohol use and poor sleep are closely related. Give Dry January a try and you'll feel a lot more energetic on those groggy Monday mornings.

5. Hello, hydration!

It's a no-brainer that going alcohol-free will improve your hydration. Did someone say clearer looking skin?!
