As the cost of living continues to increase in the province, political parties are requesting the provincial government of Quebec to increase the minimum wage. In 2023, these parties wish to take the minimum wage from $14.25 to $18.00 an hour.
According to research, CEOs of the province gain as much income by January 3 that the average Canadian worker would gain in a full year.
Inflation is also a key factor in the request for the minimum wage in the province to be increased.
Do you think the minimum wage in Quebec should be increased to $18.00?
