Among 1,005 Quebecers who speak English or French, a survey was conducted to determine the capacities of different school subjects with students.
The survey, conducted by Leger Marketing and Alloprof at the end of January, determined that French beat Math as the tougest school subjects for students.
In the results, forty percent of the 197 parents surveyed answered that French was the tougest subject, as opposed to eighteen percent who answered Math. It's important to note that three-quarters of the parents surveyed identified French as their mother tongue.
History came in third with ten percent, Science in fourth with seven percent, and Contemporary World in fifth with three percent. This came as a suprise to the Alloprof organization, as they usually expect Math to come in first place every year.
Parents, would you agree with these statistics?
