Hold on a sec, no one told us that Montrealers were part of Riri's dance crew on Sunday during her halftime show performance?!
This weekend, Rihanna gave quite the head-tunring, awaited performance. While some admired her newly grown baby bump or unforgettable Fenty Beauty touchup moment, we rather observed the numerous dancers dressed in white surrounding the 'Umbrella' star.
And what do you know... some of them come from our very own beloved MONTREAL!
The entire show was choreographed by none other than international dancer and choreographer Parris Goebel- who was behind Sharkira and J-Lo's show in 2020- as well as our very own Gab Robert!
Gab Robert studied for 3 years at École de danse Contemporaine de Montréal. Not long after, he was already scoring some of the biggest gigs, like in 2016, when the dancer and choreographer had his first encounter with Riri in her 'Work' music video.
"BRB until I can assess life," said the Montrealer on Instagram following the performance on Sunday.
Some other Montrealers also took the stage, like James Dhaïti and Ada. One thing is for sure, they all made our city very proud!
Did you happen to see them in Sunday's performance? We want to know!
