"Oh yeah we met through a dating app," isn't that uncommon of a phrase in 2023. More and more people are using apps like Tinder, Bumble, and even Facebook Match to meet their future partner. But the question is, have they become the new 'norm' to dating?
In 2023, 1.9 Million users found themselves on dating apps to find their match (and this number just keeps growing!) In fact, this number is expected to hit 2.1 Million users by 2027.
Most users on dating apps fnd themselves to be in the 25-34 year age range. With this age range normally having families, busy jobs, and everyday life involve, dating apps simply make dating more accessible (and especially easier).

With such growing statistics, we can't help but ask ourselves if in 2023, dating apps are the new and utlimate way to find love.
According to eharmony, 20% of current committed relationships began online in 2021. In 2023, after facing a global pandemic and prioritising virtual activities for a long time, we can only assume this number has increased.
Whether you're looking for a long-term partner, someone to have fun with or simply looking to meet new people, it looks like dating apps are the way to go!
