Ok, we know this sounds surreal but it's true (we even had to double check!) Parts of the golden state, California, are getting even more snow than Canada right now.
It all started 2 weeks ago, when a storm hit parts of Los Angeles and Nevada. This inevitably created a surreal image of palm trees covered in snow, as well as the famous 'Hollywood' sign surrounded by snowy mountains.
But it didn't stop there. Last week, California was hit with another storm, leaving 100 inches of snow behind. They received so much snow that officials decided to declare a state of emergency!
And apparently, the storm is far from passed for these Californians. Another storm is expected to hit the stare later this week.
Let's just say the 15 cm of snow Canada has recently been experiencing is nothing compared to this blizzard brought on to western USA...
