Are you familiar with Toblerone chocolate bars? You know, the odd looking yellow packaging that reveals triangle-shaped chocolatey goodness? The tasty swiss-made brand we all know and love?
Well, turns out this chocolate brand will no longer be able to claim that it's swiss-made. The brand's US owner will be moving some of the chocolate's production out of Switzerland.
In fact, this will even change the peak illustrated packaging of the brand, since manufacturing of the chocolate will move from the iconic Matterhorn mountain of Mondelez to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava.

“For legal reasons, the changes we’re making to our manufacturing mean we need to adjust our packaging to comply with Swissness legislation. We have removed our Swissness claim from the front of the Toblerone pack and changed our description ‘of Switzerland’ to ‘established in’,” said a Toblerone brand spokesperson in an interview.
According to Swiss laws, no brands or products can be represented with Swiss emblems or symbols of they don't meet the 'Swissness' criteria. Crazy, huh?
