Darth Verdun...Beaudry Wan Kenobi...Mandalaurier...those are just some of the 68 station names Montrealers can embark on today.

To celebrate May The Fourth, also known as Star Wars Day, Montreal's very own STM has reinvented its metro stop names we all know and love into a more galactical set of names. Let's just say, we're glad they did!

This same approach was taken by the STM last year, where 10 new station names were reinvented. This year, it's Montreal's entrire subway system that celebrates the occasion.

"May the 4th be with you. I particularly enjoyed Darth Verdun!" wrote one user under the STM's Instagram post highlighting the initiative.

This isn't the first time the STM has pulled a stunt of the sort to celebrate a holiday. For Christmas, Montreal's public transportation services reinvented its metro station names to fit a more cheery and ho-ho-ho theme...

Which one was your favourite reinvented name, Montreal?
