As Montreal was preparing to sing all night long to hits like 'About Damn Time', 'Good As Hell' and '2 Be Loved', its singer had other plans on her mind...
A little before 7pm last night, Lizzo posted a video to her Instagram captioned "Montreal I’m so sorry but I physically cannot do the show. I promise we will honor your tickets." In the video, Lizzo explains how she's been feeling very unwell, suffering from chills, headaches, and symptoms she thought were related to the flu.
It's important to note that this is the second time the 'Good As Hell' star cancels a show due to sickness. Even so, Montrealers were left with a bitter taste in their mouths...
"It costs people a lot more than a concert ticket. People go out for supper, get babysiters, pay parking or ubers. Would of been better to of known earlier."
"My 8 years old daughter was in tears all the way to the car...hope Lizzo will feel better soon!"

These are just some of the comments voiced by ticket holders on Facebook.
Good news though! As the announcement was made, Evenko lead to believe that the show wasn't cancelled, but simply postponed to a date yet to be determined.
Keep an eye out Montreal and most of all, hold on to your tickets! In the meantime, we hope Lizzo recovers well and comes back to Montreal very very soon!
