If you're getting your garden ready for the summer, you might want to make a quick stop at one of these neighborhoods this weekend.
The city is holding a 'free distribution of plants' event in certain South West neighborhoods, allowing you to get your summer gardening ON. "This year, the distribution of plants in the Southwest will highlight perennials and vegetables, herbs and annuals," said the city of Montreal on its designated Web page.
On May 27, grab some free plants in the following neighborhoods:
- Saint-Henri (4550, Saint-Émile Street)
- Little Burgundy & Griffintown (810, Chatham Street)
- Pointe-Saint-Charles (2333, Mullins Street)
- Saint-Paul-Émard (1990, De Maricourt Street)
Psst...a little birdie told us that marigolds, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and more will be available! Don't miss out Montreal, all the details can be found here.
