You line up for hours outside of Shwart'z Deli

You know it's summertime in Montreal when you see a lineup outside of the town's infamous Shwart'z Deli...I mean, who wouldn't want a world famous smoked meat sandwich on a sunny summer day??

You nearly collide with a cyclist on the road

Careful, Montreal! Cyclists are EVERYWHERE on the roads in the summertime! To be honest, we'd swap our car for a bicyle any day if it meant avoiding heavy Montreal traffic...

You realize the beaches here aren't so...clean

One thing Montreal is missing is more beaches. Though Verdun beach and nearby Oka beach are both nice, they quickly make you realize how the water from our rivers isn't the cleanest. Take us to the Bahamas instead, please!

If there's one thing that marks summer has arrived in Montreal...it's festival season. Before you know it, you'll be tired of hearing people ask you if you saw 'that show last night'.
