Tuesday: 29 degrees

Wednesday: 31 degrees

To beat the heat, Montreal plans on providing cooling stations a bit all over the city to Montrealers. "Based on how the situation will evolve, we will be ready to open any type of fresh spots if necessary to make sure that all citizens are safe," said Montreal Mayor Valerie Plante in a statement on Monday.

More specifically, Mayor Plante revealed that some of the city’s pools are already opened, and that Montreal will additionally open cooling sites if necessary.
