The Sud-Ouest’s biggest festival is happening this weekend at the Lachine Canal, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Starting on Friday, June 16, ‘Festival sur le Canal’ is going to be lit up with some of the best local music our Montreal favourites have to offer.
Montrealers can expect various local talents such as Plants and Animals, Safia Nolin, Stefanie Parnell, and so much more… You’re guaranteed to have all of your live music needs fulfilled.
Festival attendees can arrive one hour prior to the start of the festival to enjoy a drink sold on-site or to grab a spot that’s close to the stage… Don’t forget to bring your blanket and chairs!
Festival planners also recommend attendees plan ahead as there is very limited parking available. So, make sure to organize your carpool or public transportation schedule ahead of time.
Located on the Lachine Canal at Esplanade du Centenaire in St. Henri, the festival will run from Friday, June 16-18 (rain or shine) and is free admission… All you have to do is show up and enjoy the music!
For those that wish to continue the fun, there will be an open mic and after party hosted at Bar de Courcelle on Sunday, June 18 at 10pm.
