Beach lovers, this one's for you! Montreal's Parc Jean-Drapeau beach is officially open for the season and is ready to welcome you!
Ask anyone and they'll tell you this is pretty much one of the best spots to hang out when the warm weather hits Montreal.
With a 15 000 square-metre swimming area, access to nature and sandbanks as well as a ton of shade spots for you to relax, the Jean-Doré beach is a summer must. "With family, friends and even solo: the Jean-Doré beach is the delight of young and old every day of the summer," mentions the location on its website.
For those who prefer adventure over leisure, the Jean-Doré beach also offers you the chance to do the following activities:

For those who want to attend, note that an entrance fee is implemented. Day passes to the beach go as follows:
- 2 years and under: FREE
- 3-13 years: $4.60
- 14 years and over: $9.25
- Family: $22.50
