It's that time of the year again...moving day!

Though we all kind of loathe it, moving day is unavoidable (that is if you plan on moving, of course). From renting a moving truck, to cleaning your house spotless and all the way to packing your gazillion boxes, there's isn't really anything exciting about the process of moving.

To make your move a little breezier and stress-free, make sure to follow these Beat 92.5-approved moving hacks!

1. Seal your drawers

To avoid any broken drawer mishaps, make sure to seal them with painting tape or packing tape (and stay away from duct tape to avoid any paint peel-offs...)

2. Don't throw away your toilet paper rolls!

Instead, use them to store wires, cables and cords while packing! No one wants to untangle wires for hours on end...

3. Leave your clothes on their hangers

Don't waste time folding all your clothes and storing them in boxes. Instead, simply leave them on their hangers and cover them with garbage bags. It'll make for an easier and wayyyy cheaper move.

4. Label everything!

Save yourself the hassle of spending hours looking for your things as you unpack, and LABEL. EVERYTHING! Your future self will thank you!

5. Keep all hardware together

As you move in to your new place, you might need to put together a piece of furniture or two. By keeping all your hardware together, the task will be much simpler!

6. Use egg cartons and jewelry holders

Suprisingly enough, egg cartons make for the best (temporary) jewelry storage when moving! Try it out and let us know what you think!

7. Sell anything unwanted

Nowadays, there are sooo many different ways to sell your unwanted things. Don't throw anything out and sell them on platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Depop, and Vinted instead!

8. Use IKEA bags

Those big blue bags are handier than you might think...use them to move clothes, cushions, towels, and anything else that's malleable!
