After announcing a surprise appearance at Montreal’s Verdun auditorium last week, the Foo Fighters’ passing in town was highly anticipated.
On Monday, not only did the band wow their 3500 something fans with tributes to Montreal and to the healing power of rock, but now they’ve also made Montrealers proud. Shortly after the show, Foo Fighters’ David Grohl swung by Doubles in the Mile End. When it comes to a Montreal burger, we couldn’t have chosen any better!
"The Drummer of them crooked vultures came by," expressed the restaurant following Grohl’s visit.
The Foo Fighters are expected to continue their tour at the Ottawa Bluesfest tonight, before making their way back down to the states.
Now if anyone's looking for us, we'll be at Doubles enjoying one of those bad boys to ourselves.
