8 things you should never do at the movie theatre!

With the premieres of 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer' being released this week as well as 'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One' recently hitting the big screen, everyone is bound to hit the movies over the next few days or so.

Before you make a trip to the cinema, make sure you keep in mind these 8 things you should never do at the movie theatre:

1. Occupy both elbow rests

Be a kind neighbor, and make sure at least one of your arm rests is available for the person sitting beside you! Even better, make sure they have access to at least one cup holder too.

2. Phones = Off!

This one is pretty simple. Just make sure your phone is off during the movie! Not on silent or vibrator mode, but simply off. That way, you'll be sure not to cause any interruptions while the movie is playing.

3. Shoes = On!

While it's nice to get comfy during a movie, one should never get too comfy (especially at the movie theatre). If you prefer to watch a movie kicked back with your shoes off, simply watch it at home from the comfort of your living room.

4. Don't leave anything behind!

Whether you just had a soda or a full-on nacho meal with extra popcorn, make sure you don't leave anything behind! It's simply common sense to pick up after yourself, isn't it?

5. Don't show up too late! 

Try to make it on time! Nobody wants to be bothered by someone trying to find their seat while the movie has already started...

6. Shhhhhh!

Just like anywhere else that requires silence...make sure to keep the talking to a minimum when watching the movie! 

7. Don't bring your baby to the movies

There are some places where you just shoudn't bring your baby, and the cinema is one of them. Who else agrees?

8. No savesies!

It's okay if you plan on saving a seat or two next to you for your friends that are on the way...but don't go as far as to saving almost a full row of seats! That's just rude!
