Prepare yourselves, Montreal, as we can expect up to 50 millimetres of rain to fall down on the city starting on Friday. Issued by Environment and Climate Change Canada, this heavy rainfall alert warns residents of a possible thunderstorm.
"Rainfall amounts of 30 to 50 millimetres are expected over Southern Quebec beginning Friday morning. However, amounts could locally exceed 50 millimetres in thunderstorms," warns The Weather Network.
Warnings of potential floods have also been issued for Southern Quebec starting Friday and leading into Saturday.
So avoid the roads, stay indoors, and don't forget to bring in the patio cushions!
