On Wednesday, August 16th (at approximately 5:38am) a new moon is expected to light up the dark skies... But what does that mean for us astrologically?
While skeptics may find this sort of thing bizzare to even fathom, others can agree that there is just something different in the air when there is a new moon... Seeing as it happens every 28-30 days!
What exactly does that entail, you ask?
According to Bob Berman, "The new Moon marks the beginning of a lunar cycle. This means that there’s a new Moon about once a month, because the Moon takes about a month to orbit Earth." So, energetically, the new moon can be seen as a moment of renewal or rebirth.
Whether we realize it or not, this new moon energy can absolutely make an impact on us. Perhaps we may decide to switch up our routines and start a new habit, finally get the ball rolling on that home project you've been neglecting, or simply transition into a different phase of life (engagement ring on the way)?
