In one of their most recent recipes, momma decides to cook up one of Quebec's most iconic dishes: Poutine!
While we started watching the video with utmost excitement, we quickly realized that poor momma isn't as familiar with the French-Canadian delicacy as we thought she was.
Starting off with microwaved crinkle fries. While the french fry cut isn't the most common of fries Quebecers tend to go for, it was the microwave option that made us scratch our heads.
Momma then follows up by adding beef gravy straight from the can and applies the chunks right on top of the fries... But, it gets worse!
What's arguable the best part of our poutine is the overload of cheese curds. The scariest part about this dish was momma's use of Kraft Singles cheese, sigh.
Josh jokingly describes momma's dish as "Southern-Style Poutine", and we can't entirely disagree!
Despite the lack of inaccuracy in the Canadian dish, we are absolutely on board with momma's enthusiasm and optimism throughout her cooking experience!
