NSYNC have recalled the first time they ever heard themselves singing on the radio.

During the latest instalment of YouTube's Hot Ones, the iconic boyband remembered the first time they had heard one of their songs on the radio.

"We were all together," Justin Timberlake told host Sean Evans, while Lance Bass added, "We were at a radio station in Germany, it's the first, guess, couple of weeks we were over there and I remember we were in two vans, we were like split up and there were so many stuffed animals in the van because they (fans) love to throw stuffies."

He added, "Yeah, and it came on the radio and we just kind of geeked out."

JC Chasez added, "And we put on a puppet show."

Elsewhere in the interview, Justin recalled an incident when two fans hid in his hotel room.

"There was one experience where there were girls that had somehow, I guess through housekeeping in the hotel, had gotten into my room and were hiding in the closet," the singer remembered. "And I remember coming into the room and you just heard like (giggling), I was like (looking around thinking), 'There's ghosts in this hotel.'"

Justin, Lance, JC and their bandmates Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick recently reunited to release their first song in more than two decades. Better Place is on the soundtrack for the upcoming animated movie Trolls Band Together.
