Travis Kelce has admitted NFL bosses are "overdoing it" with their coverage of his rumoured girlfriend Taylor Swift at his games.
The Shake It Off singer has attended the American football star's past two Sunday matches to support him and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, and coverage of both games featured a significant amount of reaction shots of the pop star.
During the latest episode of their New Heights podcast on Wednesday, Travis and his American footballer brother Jason Kelce discussed whether the National Football League (NFL) was "overdoing it" with its coverage of Taylor.
"I think it's fun when they show who all's at the game," Travis, 33, said. "I think it brings a little bit more to the atmosphere, brings a little bit more to what you're watching. But at the same time, I think... they're overdoing it a little bit, for sure, especially in my situation... I think they're just trying to have fun with it."
Jason noted that NFL bosses are not used to celebrities attending games and cut to them too often.
"NFL is like, 'Look at all these A-List celebrities at the game! Keep showing them, show them,'" the Philadelphia Eagles star added. "You show them once, let people know they're there, maybe after a touchdown you get a little clip, but you can't be overboard with it. People are there to watch the game. It was a lot."
Taylor attended Sunday's game with her celebrity pals Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Sophie Turner, among others. Their appearance helped NBC's Sunday Night Football show score record ratings.
During a separate conversation on the Chasin' It with Trey Wingo and Chase Daniel podcast, Travis was asked if he anticipated the media frenzy surrounding his rumoured romance.
"I had no idea, man," he replied. "I had no idea. You can't tell me that anybody else did either, but I can't be mad at how it's all played out. I'll say that."
