Aaron Carter’s twin sister Angel Carter has confirmed the location of his final resting place.
The 34-year-old I Want Candy singer was found dead at his California home in November last year.
Angel took to social media on Friday to share a photo of what appeared to be a memorial plaque in tribute to her late brother.
“Aaron’s portrait was placed this morning at Fo-rest Lawn Hollywood Hills,” she wrote on Instagram. “He adored his fans, and I know how much this would mean to him now having a final resting place where we could all celebrate his life.”
The accompanying photo showed flowers laid by a plaque bearing an engraving of Aaron's face and the words: “In Loving Memory. Aaron Carter 1987 - 2022. Beloved Brother, Son, Friend & Father of Prince Carter.”
Angel also called on fans to come and pay their respects to Aaron at the cemetery in Los Angeles.
“I invite you to visit, share your memories, and never forget who Aaron was deep down,” she added.
Angel was left devastated by the loss of Aaron and took to social media to mark his passing after news broke about his death.
“My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you and I, and I promise to cherish them,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.”
An autopsy ruled Aaron died as a result of drowning due to ingesting drugs and inhaling gas.
