Travis Kelce has gushed about his relationship with Taylor Swift.

During a Wednesday episode of their New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs player and his brother Jason Kelce discussed how Travis's romance with the Lover singer has affected his performance on the field.

"Not only is social media noticing (Travis' improvement), but it appears that Big Red is noticing it," Jason said, referencing Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy 'Big Red' Reid.

Travis responded, "Listen, when you're getting Big Red's approval and blessings, you know you're doing something right."

The head coach noted to the press in a Sunday post-game conference that Travis has improved on the field since he began dating the singer. He told reporters that the sports star "keeps getting better with time" and "Taylor can stay around all she wants".

Taylor attended the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

During the game, CBS Sports ran a graphic which showed Travis gaining an extra 52.2 yards per game since Taylor started attending his matches.

Earlier this week, the athlete's father Ed Kelce described the pop superstar as "very sweet" and "very charming" during an interview with People.

"We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around," he recalled.

"And I'm just thinking, I don't think she got the diva memo. She didn't get the spoiled musician. She doesn't know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot."
