The city of Montreal has experienced its first snowfall, and its impact is being felt all around. This morning, over 15,000 Hydro-Québec customers in Montreal are without electricity, while others are braving the snow to get to work.

The Weather Network predicts that the snow will be sticky and wet, making it cling to trees and power lines, which could cause further power outages and airport delays.

Despite the week's chaotic start, we should not be experiencing any more snow until a light snowfall on Friday. However, temperatures will be dropping significantly, with the first -10 degrees forecast on Wednesday and Thursday but then we can look forward to warmer temperatures as we head into the weekend
