Lana Del Rey sees herself becoming a mother in the future.

The 38-year-old singer-songwriter has opened up about potentially becoming a mother one day.

"That's why God didn't give me children yet," Lana told The Sunday Times. "Because there is more to explore. I know people who've tested every water. It's burnt them, like Icarus."

The Summertime Sadness singer added, "But I'm willing to go there."

Lana shared that she sees herself becoming a mother in the future, stating, "I see it coming for me. We'll see. We'll see what melts the wings."

Last month, the singer revealed during an interview with Harper's Bazaar that she had recently broken up with her partner, explaining that he "didn't get" her house.

"I feel like even the most chill guy doesn't really want to chill here," Lana continued. "Sadly, part of you knows... that ain't it... That one shocked me. I won't name names and whatever, but that one really shocked me, that person. That was actually the end of a relationship."

Elsewhere in her interview with The Sunday Times, Lana dismissed claims that her father is a millionaire.

"It's crazy if you say something that's tabloid-psycho untrue about me but I can't get a word in? Congratulations! You're going to ruin how people listen to my music," she said of how the rumours affected her. "I don't need positive feedback. But you cannot just make things up."
