Well Montreal, today we officially said goodbye to one of the city’s iconic restaurants, Momesso.
Located in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighborhood, Momesso has been a go-to spot for delicious subs since 1978.
Originally planned to close on Friday, January 27th, the restaurant made a surprising announcement on Monday, January 22nd that it would be closing its doors effective immediately.
Fans of the restaurant who had made plans to eat there one last time this week shared their disappointment when discovering the restaurant had closed unexpectedly.
Momesso first announced it would be closing two weeks ago on their Facebook page thanking their “faithful clients, friends and family from near and far.”
