La Poutine Week is celebrating its 12th anniversary, and we assure you that there are various poutine creations that are totally worth trying out.
What’s La Poutine Week, you ask? Well, La Poutine Week is a Montreal food event where the famous Quebecois dish is remade and reimagined by restaurants throughout the city. After trying out a poutine, you can vote for it on La Poutine Week's website and have your say in the competition… The poutine that gets the most votes, wins!
So, without further ado, check out some of the poutines that are being featured at this year’s La Poutine Week:
Smash Poutine
What’s in it? Hand cut French fries, Quebec cheese curds, homemade gravy topped with AAA beef smash patty, American cheese, white onions, shredded iceberg, pickles and smash sauce service with a potato bun.

1 Million Dollar Poutine
What’s in it? Fries, cheese curds, a rich poutine sauce made from veal stock, beer, bacon, and caramelized onions, topped with melted parmesan, a sunny-side-up egg, and a coulis of grilled peppers and truffles, garnished with a gold leaf.
