After two years of keeping away from the spotlight, Céline Dion is coming back with a new documentary that was acquired by MGM Prime.

Directed by Oscar Nominated filmmaker Irene Taylor, “I Am: Celine Dion” will be streaming on Prime Video at a soon-to-be-determined date. The documentary will take a deep dive into Dion's struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. This illness has put a halt to her life and performance career, altering her life significantly.

“This intimate exploration takes viewers on a journey inside Céline’s past and present as she reveals her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) and the lengths she has gone to continue performing for her beloved and loyal fans,” as described in the press release.

Back in December 2022, the Québecoise singer disclosed her diagnosis and announced that she would no longer be able to perform due to her illness. Since then, she has remained relatively quiet about her experience.
