The year of the Dragon is just a few days away and it’s time to join in on the festivities, Montreal!

From February 9th to 11th, Montreal's Chinatown will open its doors to all Montrealers to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Unlike the Gregorian calendar, this holiday is based on the phases of the moon. This year's Lunar New Year is special as it honors the Dragon zodiac sign, which symbolizes power, strength, and new opportunities.

The main event will be the Lunar New Year Parade happening on Saturday, February 10th at 11am sharp. The parade will feature dragons and lions dancing to the sound of drums!

On top of that, there will be traditional music and dance performances, special menus will be served at restaurants in Chinatown and so much more!

For more information, make sure to visit the Montreal Chinatown Lunar New Year Party Facebook event.
