If you're planning a trip this upcoming long weekend, take note of some major road closures in Montreal.
Transport Québec announced that Highway 40 will be closed all weekend for paving work. The complete closure on Highway 40 westbound will extend from exit 70 (A-15 North, Route 117, Laval, Rockland, and Marcel Laurin Boulevard) to exit 65 (P-E Trudeau, 520 Ouest, Aut. de la Côte-de-Liesse). The Cavendish Boulevard entrance will also be closed.
Additionally, starting at 11:30 pm on Friday:
- The ramp from Autoroute 15 (des Laurentides) South to Highway 40 West will be closed.
- At 11:59 pm, the ramp from Highway 40 West to Highway 15 (Décarie) South will close.
- The ramp from Highway 15 (Décarie) North to Highway 40 West will close at 11:30 pm.
- The ramp from A-40 West to A-520 West will close at 11:59 pm.
- Exit 64 (Cavendish Boulevard) from A-40 West will close at 11:59 pm.
