Victoria Day long weekend is finally here, and we don’t know about you, Montreal, but we are looking forward to spending the next few days strolling in the sun! However, a long weekend also means certain stores and services will be closed.
Here is what will be open and closed during Victoria Day Weekend:
Open:
- Most shopping malls and stores
- Atwater and Jean-Talon Markets
- SAQ (usual hours)
- Garbage, recycling, and compost will keep the usual schedules
- Ecocentres will be open on summer schedules
- The Planetarium, Biodôme, Botanical Garden, Insectarium, and Biosphère
- STM will be operating on a holiday schedule
- EXO buses will run on a Saturday schedule, while trains will run on a Sunday schedule
Closed:
- Banks and financial institutions
- Canada Post
- Revenue Quebec
