Montreal's largest bike festival is returning this weekend. While it promises a fantastic time for cyclists, it might clash with your weekend plans if you intend to drive.

Certain sections of the city will transform into a cyclist's pathway as Tour la Nuit will close off several main streets on Friday, May 31. Following this, the Tour de l'Île will block some roads in Montreal on June 2.

The following streets will be affected this weekend:

  • Streets near Jean-Mance Park
  • Rue Saint-Urbain
  • Avenue du Parc
  • Boulevard Saint-Laurent
  • Avenue Mont-Royal
  • Rue Berri
  • Rue Sainte-Catherine Est
  • Boulevard René-Lévesque Est/Ouest

Additionally, the STM will also be rerouting a few of its bus lines. Find more about the new temporary bus routes by clicking here.

If interested in joining the biggest cycling party in Montreal, you can still sign up on the event’s website over here!
