If you love delicious, crunchy croissants, you'll be happy to know that some local bakeries will be offering them for just $1.50 each!
On June 15 only, bakeries such as Duc de Lorraine, Boulangerie Jarry, and more will participate in La Fête du Croissant, a yearly tradition promoting local bakers.
Croissants will be sold with a limit of four per customer to ensure everyone can enjoy the treat.
This event started in 2011 after a poll by La Presse, asking Montrealers to choose the city’s best croissant, received a lot of interest. Following the poll, Franck Dury-Pavet, the owner of Fous Desserts (the winner of the poll), decided to create a festival to celebrate the delicious pastry.
