Lana Del Rey has explained that the key to Taylor Swift's astronomical fame is the fact that "she wants it".
The Summertime Sadness singer, 38, collaborated with Taylor on the 2022 duet Snow on the Beach.
Since then, Taylor's fame has exploded to new highs and she is currently in the midst of her Eras World Tour which is projected to earn over $2 billion (£1.5 billion) and is already the highest-grossing tour of all time.
With the tour arriving in the UK this week, the BBC asked Lana for her thoughts on Taylor's success, and she replied, "She's told me so many times that she wants it more than anyone. And how amazing - she's getting exactly what she wants. She's driven, and I think it's really paid off."
Brit Award-winning star Raye also praised the American singer, telling the BBC, "She is just one of those rare timeless artists who gets it right every time... She's an absolute powerhouse."
The Eras Tour has already wowed audiences in the USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Australia, Singapore and parts of Europe.
Her UK dates include a record-breaking eight nights at Wembley Stadium in London and she is expected to entertain 1.2 million fans in the UK alone.
The tour involves an impressive 152 dates and even though it began in March last year, Taylor's final night on stage won't be until the end of this year when it ends in Vancouver, Canada, on 8 December.
