Well Montreal, we are proud to say that our home province scored high in a recent survey!

That’s right, in a latest survey on the happiest province in Canada, Quebec scored tied with Ontario at the number one spot!

The list was compiled by casino.com which based its studies on a few factors which include retirement age, average salary, unemployment rate, safety index score and more.

Here is the complete ranking of the happiest provinces in Canada:

  • Ontario — 6.88/10
  • Quebec — 6.88/10
  • Alberta — 6.25/10
  • Saskatchewan — 6.25/10
  • Manitoba — 5.31/10
  • British Columbia — 5/10
  • New Brunswick — 3.44/10
  • Nova Scotia — 3.13/10
  • Prince Edward Island — 2.19/10

Quebec also got the number one spot for the lowest unemployment rate and lowest crime rate.
