A morning Earthquake was felt in areas just outside Montreal

Residents of Saint-Jérôme and Rawdon were jolted awake early Wednesday morning by a 2.7 magnitude earthquake. 

The tremor, which struck just after 7:30 AM northwest of Rawdon, was described by Earthquakes Canada as being lightly felt in the surrounding areas.
