David Colasurdo, the owner of Café South Side in Saint-Léonard, is a very busy man during the Holiday season! Not only does he manage his bustling café, but he is also known in the neighbourhood for hosting an annual food and toy drive for families in need.

It all started in 2009, when Colasurdo approached friends & relatives for a small food drive. He’s been doing it every year since, and it’s really snowballed! These days, his annual drive attracts around 700 donors and benefits the Welcome Hall Mission.

The drive was held on Sunday, and the photos posted on Mr. Colusardo’s Instagram page (@sstoyandfooddrive) show that this was another successful edition!
