Jelly Roll has surpassed his 100-pound (45 kilogram) weight loss goal while on tour.

In a video shared via Instagram on Tuesday, the singer-rapper showed off his slimmed down physique while backstage at a show.

"Next year when y'all see me, you won't recognise me," he joked in the clip. "I'm going to get under a pile of weights in a way that I never had."

Jelly, real name Jason DeFord, is currently on the road for his Beautifully Broken tour.

And his nutrition coach, Ian Larios, went on to praise the 39-year-old for "crushing" his health goals.

"We just passed the halfway point of the tour, and Jelly's been crushing it," he smiled. "We're either walking (around) the arena, playing basketball, boxing. He just surpassed his 100-pound weight loss."

Ian went on to list some of the ways he is packing in more protein into Jelly's diet. For example, he will make a banana with Manuka honey, Stevia, and dark chocolate shavings to "fuel him before a show".

The healthy eating expert will also prepare his version of Nashville hot chicken using potato and rice flour instead of the traditional batter.

"We're still having a high-protein meal," Ian insisted, before demonstrating he how cooks his French fries in bone broth. "(This method) ups the protein in it, but it also makes it have that nice crunch to it, because we air fry it. So, it tricks your brain into thinking that this is, like, that nice greasy Nashville deep-fried hot chicken. He's gonna feel like he's eating at home. It's healthy. It's air fried. It's full of protein, and it helps him stay on track."

Back in April, Jelly revealed he had lost over 70 pounds (31 kilograms).

"That 100-pound weight loss goal from last tour is huge," added Ian.

The Need a Favor hitmaker's next show is set to take place in Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday.
