Montreal may have had a taste of chilly weather this past weekend, but temperatures are still higher than average — and we might even break a Halloween heat record!
Environment and Climate Change Canada is predicting a high of 23°C with sunny skies this Thursday. To put this in perspective, the current record for Halloween stands at 21°C, set in 1956, so we’re on track to make history.
Typically, Halloween temperatures hover around 9°C in Montreal, so this warm spell is quite a treat!
The heat wave will kick off on Wednesday with highs of 22°C under partly sunny skies. By Friday, temperatures are expected to return to more seasonal norms with a high of 15°C, before dipping to a low of -3°C overnight.
Enjoy this above-seasonal warmth while it lasts, because we all know what's waiting for us just around the corner!
