For the first time, 15 beams of light will illuminate the sky to pay tribute to the women killed 35 years ago in the Polytechnique shooting.

The 15th beam serves as a broader symbol to honour all women who have been victims of violence.

The ceremony will take place at Mount Royal’s Kondiaronk Lookout, beginning just after 5 PM.

It will include speeches, a musical performance by harpist Éveline Grégoire-Rousseau, and a rose-laying ceremony in memory of the 14 women who lost their lives.
