Ellie Goulding has revealed that she went through her "hardest times" in 2024.

To mark the New Year, the British singer-songwriter took to Instagram to share a montage of clips of herself taken over the course of the year.

In the caption, Ellie - who announced her divorce from Caspar Jopling earlier this year - reflected on the past year.

"Strange that the hardest times can exist at the same time as feeling the most alive," she wrote in the caption. "God you're welcome, 2025."

The Love Me Like You Do hitmaker went on to show her appreciation for her loved ones.

"Love to my amazing son, the glorious women in my life and my fans," the 38-year-old penned. "Thank you for this and thank you all for your support, without which I wouldn't be here."

The video features a number of short clips of the singer, including footage of her dancing, spending time with her four-year-old son Arthur, posing for photoshoots and performing on stage.

The singer announced in February that she and Caspar had decided to call it quits after four years of marriage.

In her Instagram announcement, Ellie told fans that she and her now ex-husband "remain the closest of friends" and are "successfully co-parenting" their son, who they welcomed in 2021.

Ellie's post comes weeks after she teased her sixth studio album, which she described as "very personal". She has yet to reveal the title or release date.
