Anne Hathaway has joked Jeremy Strong "borrowed" the bucket hat she wore in The Princess Diaries for the 2025 Golden Globes.

At the prizegiving held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday night, the Succession actor stepped out in a white turtleneck, mint green velvet suit and matching bucket hat from Loro Piana.

While the quirky look divided fashion critics, Anne took to Instagram after the show aired to point out the similarities between Jeremy's hat and the grey bucket hat she wore to play Mia Thermopolis in the classic 2001 movie.

"Sweetheart, I'm not mad you borrowed it but I didn't totally realize you were going to change the col... (sic)," she wrote alongside a side-by-side comparison of the hats.

But after poking fun, Anne went on to congratulate Jeremy on his nomination for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his portrayal of lawyer Roy Cohn in The Apprentice.

Ultimately, he lost out to his Succession co-star Kieran Culkin, who won for A Real Pain.

"Anyway, not important, congrats on your well-deserved nom for The Apprentice," the 42-year-old continued, adding a heart emoji.

Jeremy has not yet responded to Anne's humorous post.

The Hollywood stars have worked on two projects together; 2019's Serenity and 2022's Armageddon Time.

A third Princess Diaries film is currently in development.
