Good news for Quebec workers! The province’s minimum wage will officially rise from $15.75 to $16.10 on May 1, 2025.

Labour Minister Jean Boulet called the increase a balanced approach, aiming to protect workers’ purchasing power while considering the ability of small and medium-sized businesses to adapt during economic uncertainty.

The wage hike will benefit approximately 217,400 employees, primarily in the retail and restaurant sectors
