Quebec students are getting ready to take their voices to the streets once again!

According to a TikTok video, students across the province are planning a second strike in protest of the new measure banning cellphones in elementary and secondary schools starting next school year.

Students first expressed their anger over the new law on May 9, with some gathering outside their schools to demonstrate.

The official announcement about the ban was made by Education Minister Bernard Drainville on May 1, 2025.
